CrossFit Diaries: pull-ups and such

After four months of CrossFit, I finally succeeded in doing one dead hang pull-up this morning without the assistance of bands. Well, one and a half, technically. (My shoulders were toast from our burpee-push up workout so I couldn't do more than that. Excuses, excuses. I know, I know.)

YAY for progress. :)


  1. oh, yay Lola! That's my huuuge Crossfit goal. I go in before class every day and do 3 sets of 10 with a fat band, haha! Next up is the handstand push-up? Or have you already mastered that one?!

    1. You're a Crossfitter, too? Sweet!!! Yeah, I started with the fat bands and it was so cool to see my progress to the thinner ones. I eventually would like to do 10 in a row. That's going to be a while though. :)

      As for handstand push-ups? Gah! Not yet. I'm still trying to balance myself without falling on my head or getting dizzy. I've been doing a lot of modified sets. I'll keep you posted.
